The Sirris Technology Centre recently opened an application lab in Kortrijk to test new technologies for local small and medium-sized businesses. POM West-Vlaanderen and Sirris are building the new Mechanical engineering - and Mechatronics Centrum with this branch. The Zwevegem tube manufacturer Fomeco successfully appealed to Sirris to improve and partly automate its production process.
